How we match you
When you complete your registration form, you’ll be asked to include a very short description of yourself — for example, brown hair, wears a hat, likes golf and cooking.
At the end of the walk, before everyone heads off for optional coffee, the groups will briefly separate. You’ll be given a Walkers Card featuring the names and short descriptions of the opposing sex you met during the walk. This helps jog your memory if you had great chats but can’t quite remember someone’s name.
You’ll then have a quiet moment to reflect and note down anyone you’d be interested in seeing again. Our admin team uses this information to organise matches later that day — and we’ll only connect people if the interest is mutual.
It’s not about writing a profile. It’s simply a helpful way for others to remember you after spending an hour walking and chatting together — which helps you to match accurately. ,
