Frequently asked questions
Do you cater for same-sex matchups and the wider LGBTQ+ community?
Absolutely! These events will be added soon. Please keep an eye on our schedule.
What do I bring to the event? Yourself, comfy shoes, a water bottle if you like, and an open mind. Dog lovers edition? Don’t forget poop bags!
What time does it start? Your host will be there no earlier than 15 minutes before the walk. We keep things relaxed — no awkward pre-event mingling required.
Can I bring my kids along? No, this is an adults-only event.
If I know the meeting place, can I just show up on the day? Sorry, no. Spots are limited to keep the event flowing smoothly. Extra people turning up would affect the experience for everyone.
What happens if it rains? No problem. If we need to postpone, your host will email you an hour before the walk. You’ll also receive a "rain check code" from admin later that day giving you 30 days to rebook into another walk of your choice. I don't have a dog - can I still come to a Dog Lovers event?Absolutely - Dogs are optional only, if you have one and want to bring them, feel free. if not, just bring your love for dogs and enjoy petting the ones that are there - if you choose to. Is there a cancellation policy?Yes, there is.
Our walks are carefully organised to keep numbers as balanced as possible, giving everyone a fair opportunity to make connections. Once your booking is confirmed, our admin team begins preparing the event with attendees in mind, including organising the Walkers Cards and matching materials ahead of time.
Because of this planning, last-minute cancellations are not refundable, similar to purchasing a concert or event ticket. Changes close to the event can impact the balance of the group and the experience for other attendees.
